Pleasantview Soap Opera – Part One

This will be a long post, so settle yourself in! A lot has changed in Pleasantview… and a lot will continue to change.

We’ll start with Don Lothario since he seems to be ingrained in every Sim family in the neighborhood. Don currently has 4 lovers, and he can’t make up his mind which one to be with. He is engaged to Cassandra Goth, but he really doesn’t want to be tied down.

Don decided the other night to see if he could get away with “Woohoo’ing” with all four of his lovers in one night without getting caught.

He started with Kathlyn, the maid…

and continued with Nina Caliente…

Then after sending her home, he invited Dina Caliente over (without bothering to get dressed)

Then sent her packing because Cassandra Goth got on the phone and invited him over.

Game Re-Install

I went and bought a brand new computer yesterday, and ended up just reinstalling all of the Sims 2 games. So, that means all of my previous stories will be wiped out.

The good news is that I now run Core 2 Duo technology and have 1GB of memory, which makes a HUGE difference in Sims 2. The neighborhoods load super-fast now and the game runs so much more smoothly, which will enable me to play more often. (And in turn, update this site more often!)

So now I have a clean and brand-new game to work with, which is good. I’m not going to download any hacks this time… and I’ve decided to play all of the neighborhoods as-is and eventually add my own families. (In my last game, I got bored of the pre-made neighborhood families and wiped them out half the time).

So keep an eye out for all of our favorite families in Pleasantview, like the Goths, Caliente sisters, Pleasants, Lotharios and more. I already have quite the soap opera going in that town, as a matter of fact…

The Flores Plant-Sim Story

So of course, I was curious how to turn a Sim into a plantsim as soon as I started playing Sims 2 Seasons. And I figured it out…

And thus begins the story of Jimmy Flores.

Jimmy was a normal guy, average-looking (as you can see from the photo), with a Romance aspiration.

He studied up on his cooking for the first few days in his new small home. His life aspiration was to be a Celebrity Chef, and he was determined that it would happen. He made some friends and took up fishing.

Jimmy also decided to start a garden and plant tomatoes, as well as a fruit tree. That’s where it all began.. in his garden.

Jimmy found that he loved gardening. He also loved women, and started dating a few of them. One of them – Jade Smuthers – particularly took his attention, and he quickly fell for her. He let Jade and her homely sister Crystal move in. This is Crystal and Jade:

Crystal and Jade argued over Jimmy, (who secretly made out with both of them) but the beautiful Jade won. Homely Crystal ended up moving out of the house shortly after a huge fight erupted.

Meanwhile, Jimmy managed to get a Gold badge in gardening while making his way up the Culinary job track. One day, as he was spraying his prized fruit tree, he felt a weird tingling in his body… and suddenly turned into a plant person! (Sorry that I didn’t get pictures of the transformation – I actually didn’t know it was happening at the time).

Now Jimmy was a green man… but he didn’t mind. He had turned into such a gardening fanatic that it suited him to be one with nature.

New Sims 2 Seasons Pictures

Sorry that I have done a post in so long…

I bought the new Seasons expansion pack last week and have been playing it feverishly since. It has a few glitches, but for the most part is a fun addition. Here are some pictures of some of the different seasons and activities you can do in the new expansion.

I also have pictures of a family (see above post) who I managed to turn one of the members into a plant person.

Tracie Sutton’s Story, Part 1

Meet Tracie Sutton, a young woman attending Sim State University.

At the present time, she is in her Junior year. She lives in a nice house off-campus with a roommate named Mallory.

Tracie is a “Femme Fatale” with a Romance Aspiration who has already managed to achieve lifetime Platinum status on her aspiration meter. It probably has something to do with the fact that she has managed to wine, dine and woohoo with at least 10 sims in the course of her freshman, sophmore and junior year. No enemies to speak of and she also has a 4.0 GPA!

You’ll notice she is in a different person in each photo. So far she has dated: Greg, Aiden, Ty, Scott, Regina (her only female love), Corey, George, Vince, Professor Ted (!!) and Seth. Plus still others who she can’t remember the names of. She is now engaged to Greg Lind, whom she suspects might be her true love. The problem is, will she be able to give up her other loves?

Seth Brown’s Story, Part 1

Meet Seth Brown. He lived alone in a medium-sized house for a while, developing his toy-making skills. He still doesn’t have a job but instead hopes he can live from his inheritance and from the toys he makes. Seth has family aspirations and is a Gemini.

Seth went on a blind date that ended in a complete disaster. (The girl’s boyfriend showed up and slapped her silly, which wasn’t Seth’s fault but she later dropped a pile of steaming poo on his doorstep anyway!)

Then Seth met April, (pictured below with the dark hair), who already had a boyfriend as well. But thankfully she never brought him around. They went on a couple of dates, had pillow fights and made out. Seth tried to get lucky with her but it just didn’t happen.
